Millions of America's senior citizens are veterans or surviving spouses of veterans. As these heroes age, they are often desperate to remain living independently in their own home, yet they require help with activities of daily living.

A little known Veterans Administration benefit, called Pension with Aid and Attendance, can help to fund this care. This benefit assists qualified veterans and spouses with funding for bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and other activities that make it possible to continue to live at home independently.

Veterans Care Coordination helps veterans and their families understand and apply for this benefit, and works to coordinate the care through home care companies that are our partners. We partner with you to identify and screen candidates and help to build your hours by subcontracting all the in-home care back to you for these clients. Your office need only send us names. We do everything else, including:

Gathering all necessary documentation from doctors, courthouses and the National Military Records Center

Assisting families with the process of preparing the initial application

Monitoring the state of the application through regular contact with the VA

 Performing all the billing

Assisting with maintaining eligibility on a month-by-month basis

Assist with monitoring medical expenses to ensure eligibility

Our proven process ensures timely communication and provides a framework which holds us accountable to you our partners and ultimately to the families of veterans and spouses. We are privileged to serve all clients with the same honor and integrity with which they served our country.

Pension with Aid and Attendance is available to veterans and surviving spouses of veterans who meet certain criteria.

At Veterans Care Coordination, helping America's heroes stay at home in their golden years isn't just our job; it's a passion that comes from long experience and family tradition.

Company President Kyle Laramie has assisted thousands of veterans and spouses in obtaining the Pension with Aid and Attendance. Kyle's training in Occupational Therapy and his extensive background in home and facility care has taught him that seniors who can stay in their homes are often happier and healthier as a result. His grandfather, World War II veteran Norbert Laramie, occupies a special place in Kyle's heart as a true American hero.

The dual passions of service to seniors and honoring veterans drive all the staff of Veterans Care Coordination. Each client as a story to tell of a family member who served in the armed forces and each has first-hand experience in what it means to care for seniors, either as a dedicated family member or in a clinical environment. These experiences are put to use every day as we strive to serve veterans and spouses with the same honor and dignity as they served our country.
